The Eternal Question: Is bigger better? |
| Page: 1 2 next -> |
Men and women ask this question all the time. Penis size is not only linked to physical performance in bed, but is also derived from a man’s sense of power and self-worth. The feared question, “Is he bigger than me?” will hopefully not produce the even more feared response, “Yes.” While much is made in movies and magazines about the glory of the large penis, the truth is that penis size has little to do with actual sexual gratification.
The vagina is elastic and will expand to fit – case in point, childbirth. However, what people don’t realize is that the vagina will also contract to fit as well. If a woman has given birth, or if she is even just very highly aroused, she may not feel “tight” to herself or her partner. There are many ways in which both the man and woman can increase their pleasure.
Try new positions. The missionary position brings you as close as you can get to your partner, but it doesn’t necessarily put you in the best position for maximum penetration. Try spooning while you make love (lying on your sides, with the man behind). Or, try a reverse missionary position: the woman lies down on her stomach, with the man on top. By keeping her legs together, the woman can create extra friction and tension. Another good place to find different positions is the Kama Sutra, which explains what each position will intensify.
Kegel exercises are a great way to tone your vaginal muscles. By contracting the muscles you usually use to stop urine, you can strengthen and tighten that area. You can also use Kegel exercises during sex; your partner is sure not to complain. Also, don’t use too much lubricant. Friction is key, and with too much lube, you’ll lose most of the sensation.
Use your fingers (or your partner’s) to stimulate you during sex. The area near the entrance to the vagina is the most sensitive, so by touching that during penetration, you’ll create maximum pleasure. The same is true of your partner; by touching the areas around his penis and tops of his thighs, you’ll generate friction that in turn generates pleasure. |
